A few days ago, LVMH, the multi-national luxury goods conglomerate hosted the LVMH Watch Week 2020. The grand event was organized to celebrate the magnificence of luxury watchmaking and to provide a platform for LVMH owned watch brands to launch their new releases. Needless to say, the affair screamed me de la me. It was one of the finest hours for Swiss Haute Horlogerie as some of the best watch manufacturing houses were heading the event with brand new launches. Bvlgari was among these brands and had three new watches to show, the Serpenti Seduttori being one of them.
The Serpenti Seduttori An Impeccable Creation

This blog with be about the all-new Bvlgari Serpenti Seduttori. The timepieces in this series aimed mainly at the brand’s affluent female followers. The primary audience of the coveted watchmaker for the longest time has been women who long for class and have a taste for finer things in life.
In addition to that, this release was also a reminder that gone are the days when women had to make use of smaller versions of men’s watches. These timepieces usually had Quartz movements and were not half as impressive as their men’s counterparts. Bvlgari has helped a lot in redefining the role of women’s timepieces in modern times and this event was a testament of its mission.
Finally, A Women’s Watch That Breaks Stereotypes
What makes the all-new Serpenti Seduttori impressive is that despite the small size, which is intended to complement the smaller wrist sizes of women, the watchmaker has managed to fit a tourbillon inside. The movement used inside is the BVL150, an in-house manufactured mechanism that is custom made for the Seduttori. If you had told someone back in the day that women’s watches would have a tourbillon inside them someday, no one would have believed you and that’s the best-case scenario. This feat was appreciated by everyone regardless of their age, gender, and general taste in mechanical or Quartz watchmaking. It is a statement that has not only added to Bvlgari’s value as a horologist but also as an artist.

These models come along with the standard Serpenti head or case and have a leather strap or a jewel-clad bracelet. The references vary between rose gold or white gold complemented by diamond pave. While the bracelet comes with a full diamond-studded set as well as diamond pave, the leather strap is equal parts aesthetic and utilitarian.
Well, in addition to the tourbillon models, Bvlgari introduced an array of non-tourbillon models as well. These timepieces display a brand new snakeskin-like bracelet that does poetic justice to the watch’s name. These bracelets either come with diamond-studded sets, or rose gold, white gold, or stainless steel links that align in an alternating fashion, just like a snakeskin pattern.
