NOMOS Metro Neomatik 41 Update
In the year 2018, luxury watch brand NOMOS introduced a new mechanism in its brand catalogue, a version of the popular Neomatik movement, the in-house calibre 6101. The ultra-thin movement came fitted with a date display that could be set both forward as well as backward. It was named the Tangenete Neomatik 41 Update.
Now, in 2021, the brand has announced a new Update, the Metro Neomatik 41 Update a new version of the classic, featuring the 6101 calibre.
Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch ‘Master Chronometer’ With Co-Axial Caliber 3861
The popular Swiss luxury watch brand announced in 2019 that it would be replacing the famous caliber 1861 of the Moonwatch with an upgraded version, the much more advanced co-axial caliber 3861. The caliber 1861 is now discontinued officially, marking it the end of the legendary movement. It was the most recent successor to the original 321 Calibre.
Hublot Classic Fusion Orlinski 40mm
Hublot is known to transmogrify sheer art into modern day mechanical watches. That is something that brand has established a reputation for.
The 40 mm wide Classic Fusion timepiece is designed in an Orlinski-ish fashion. The dial of the watch thoroughly reflects the faceted aesthetic found throughout the artist’s works. The unique tones of black and blue agree with the colours he is known to work with. The whole timepiece is made up of ceramic. It seems like the watch is sculpted instead of being manufactured.
IWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Edition ‘Le Petit Prince’
The tale of The Little Prince or the “Le Petite Prince’s was coined up by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. He was a French national hero, a beloved children’s author, and last but not least, a pioneering pilot. The IWC watch here has a 46 mm wide stainless steel case, a midnight blue dial, Arabic numerals with Super-LumiNova. The 60 meters of water resistance is decent while the brown leather strap is complementary to the overall theme.
the IWC in-house manufactured Caliber 82760 is coupled to the bezel. Hence, all that one has to do in order to cycle through time zones is depress the bezel. From there on, they can turn the timezoner to the desired city.
Audemars Piguet Royal Oak ‘Jumbo’ Extra-Thin Ref. 15202
With the new 39 mm wide platinum case merged with a full platinum bracelet and a see-through case back, this watch is a very conventional Royal Oak reference with a slight twist. While Audemars Piguet has never hidden from vibrant dial colours, the green dial seems like a safer choice.
The watch is 39 mm wide and 8.1 mm thick. The case is made of 950 platinum and has a sunburst green dial. The applied indexes have Super-LuimiNova and so do the hands.
New Omega Seamaster 300
The timepiece has the same old school vibes, but at the same time, it also offers a fresh perspective on the whole dive watch genre. The watch is also released in blue and black dial variants. With this release, the Omega Seamaster watch has been brought closer to the original, both in spirit and design.
The gorgeous watch is 41 mm wide in diameter and 13.85 mm in thickness. The case is made of stainless steel with dial options in blue or black. Indexes are in the form of Arabic markers that come along with luminescence. Needless to say, the Seamaster was an impeccable water resistance of 300 meters.
Panerai Submersible Bronzo Blu Abisso
When Panerai launched its first Bronzo watch back in 2011, the PAM 382, bronze watches were a huge rarity. The brand was one of the first ones to revive this tradition. In 2021, after 10 years, Panerai has once again released a new bronze timepiece.
The Panerai Submersible Bronzo Blu Abisso is a 42 mm wide and 14.37 mm thick timepiece. The case is made out of bronze and the dial colour is blue. The dial comes in a matte finish that only accentuates the aesthetic of the watch. The Super-LumiNova further adds function to the uber-functional timepiece. The 300-meter water resistance is, needless to say, a huge bonus.
Panerai Luminor Marina eSteel
2021 saw a major release from Panerai that is made of 98.6 per cent recycled material. The timepiece aims to get recycled materials onto the mainstream scene and eventually on more wrists. The new 2021 Luminor Marina eSteel is essentially a trio of 44 mm watches with automatic movements that are just like any other Panerai Luminor.
The difference is that they are made of a revolutionary composite. The 44 mm wide and 15.45 mm thick automatic watch comes in a material named Steel. The indexes are basically sandwich cut outs thanks to the signature sandwich structure of the dial. The watch is powered by the Calibre P.9010, a movement offering 72 hours of power reserve.

IWC added two exquisite references to its collection in 2021. These rather sandy models are the IWC Big Pilot Watch TOP GUN Edition “Mojave Desert” and the Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar TOP GUN Edition “Mojave Desert.
They will be made available in just 250 pieces. Now, here’s the thing. We try and not add limited editions to our lists because know that these will eventually be gone forever but this was an exception.
Big Bang Integral Tourbillon Full Sapphire
The new Big Bang Integral Tourbillon Full Sapphire is exactly what the name suggests, it is fully made of sapphire. After a five-year long study on the uses of sapphire, the Swiss master watchmaker has released a 43 mm Big Bang watch with a full-fledged sapphire case. The Hublot Big Bang watch also has an integrated bracelet crafted with sapphire.
The bracelet of this gorgeous timepiece has 156 pieces. 22 of these pieces are made of sapphire, and each component has been specifically designed to complement the aesthetic of the sapphire at the highest level. This includes titanium inserts inside the bracelet that were minimized so that they did not block any light.
